Thermi-Lyon has been providing heat treatment and vacuum coating since 1960. The group has around ten sites and more than 200 furnaces.
KmProd has been in service there since 2002. In 2012, the group chose to rebuild it as KmProd3, standardise it and then deploy it across eight of its sites.
The starting point
Since 2002, KmProd had been running on several of the group’s French sites, installed as each one needed it.
One MES, site after site
In 2012, Meta 2i rebuilt the application as KmProd3 and then standardised it: the same software and the same configuration, deployed site after site across eight of the group’s sites. Each new site therefore starts from a common foundation, and the data reads the same way from one site to the next.
